Novelty Dog Show – May Day – 6th May 2024 Even though grey clouds loomed, the weather stayed on our side as we set up the Novelty Dog Show in the delightful Priory Gardens, Royston. Our show was packed with a variety of classes that had something for everyone! From Best Golden Oldie to Best Rescue with a Story and The Waggiest Tail to Sausage Catching, it was a day full of furry fun. Our dog-loving community didn’t hold back, with entries coming in right until the last minute. Promptly at 1 pm, the judging of our fantastic Royston dogs began. From adorable puppies to seasoned veterans, from petite Papillons to majestic Dobermanns, Royston Dog Owners strutted their stuff to support this lovely local event. Just as we were gearing up for the grand finale of Best in Show, the good old British Bank Holiday weather made its appearance, greeting us with a drizzle. But, our tenacious Royston Dog owners were prepared, sporting waterproofs and continuing with the show in high spirits! Congratulations goes too –

Thank you to everyone who participated. The event, which saw a great turnout, managed to raise £190.00 for the noble cause of Shepreth Wildlife Park. A big thank you to all who made it a success!
